| DG Prisons visits Sub Jail Reasi | | Reasi, June 30 (Scoop News)- Director General Prisons S.P Vaid today visited Sub jail Reasi and took stock of the security arrangements and facilities provided to the jail inmates.
During his visit, the DGP checked the functioning of CCTV cameras installed for security purpose and visited the barracks and Medical Room in the jail.
He interacted with the prisoners and enquired about the food and medicare facilities being provided to them.
The DGP directed the concerned to take up repair and renovation of barracks, kitchen, and bathrooms and further directed I/C Superintendent Jail for starting interest based vocational courses to provide skill training to the jail inmates.
The DGP was accompanied by SSP Reasi Sujit Kumar, Commandant IRP Ist Bn T.R Katoch, Dy. Commandant IRP Ist Bn alongwith I/C Superintendent Jail Reasi Madan Singh Charak and other officers
