JKYDF for concrete plan for the welfare of JK youth

Srinagar, June 29 (Scoop News)-The Jammu and Kashmir Youth Development Forum (JKYDF) chairman Farooq Ganderbali today urged both state and central governments to devise a concrete plan for the welfare of youths who have become the worst victims of the present turmoil in the state.
In a statement Farooq Ganderbali said separatists in Kashmir were pushing our children towards illiteracy for petty political interests. “When world is moving ahead, separatists try to keep our children away from schools, colleges and universities. Education needs normalcy and peace. We all have to play our role so that our younger generation’s future is secured,” he said.
The JKYDF chairman said that situation in the state was again turning bad and those leaders who claim to be well wishers of Kashmir in reality are pushing Kashmiris towards darkness. “They have sent their children to abroad and other states of India for education, while children of poor are suffering on account of violence. Kashmir youth are talented but they lack exposure,” he said.
He urged both state and central governments to devise a concrete plan for the welfare of youths. “Youths are being pushed intentionally towards violence by separatists and their handlers from across the border. It is duty of the government to save the Kashmiri youth from the clutches of these vested interests,” he demanded.
