Army flags off 20 students from remote villages of Suru and Zansakar on 'educational and motivational' tour | to Uttrakhand and Union Capital | Leh (Ladakh), June 27, (Scoop News)-A National Integration Tour (NIT) was flagged off Monday from Leh to cities in North India and the National capital, New Delhi under Operation Sadbhavana.
The tour was flagged off by General Officer Commanding Fire and Fury Corps. The educational-cum-motivational tour of 20 students and four teachers from the remote villages of the Suru and Zanskar Valleys in Kargil district to other parts of the country will foster close bonds.
Part of the tour is planned by service aircraft from Leh to Chandigarh and back.
The students teachers will get an opportunity to visit Mussorie, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun and also interact with the Governor of Uttrakhand, before moving on to New Delhi. While in New Delhi, they will visit the educationally important places like National Museum, National Science Centre and Nehru Planetarium. They will return to Leh via Chandigarh. ... |
