| 3 bootleggers arrested in Anantnag | |
Srinagar, May 25 (Scoop News)-Anantnag police arrested three bootleggers and recovered illicit liquor from their possession.
Acting of a specific information, a police party of Police Station Pahalgam laid a naka in their jurisdiction. During naka checking a sumo bearing registration number JK02V-3619 was intercepted. During the search of the vehicle 30 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered. Three persons Mohammad Abbas Reshi son of Mohammad Akbar Reshi, Mohammad Hussain Mir son of Gul Mohammad Mir residents of Veerseran and Abdul Rehman Khan son of Ghulam Nabi Khan resident of Bonpora Liver who were boarding the vehicle were arrested.
A case FIR Number 31/2016 under section 50 Excise Act was registered against them and investigation was taken up.
