| Northern Command holds Inter School Hockey Tournament, APS Udhampur bags first prize | | 
Udhampur, May 3, (Scoop News)-The Northern Command Inter School Hockey Tournament was held at Army Public School Udhampur. The two days event was contested amongst Army Public School teams from Dhar road, Nagrota, Akhnoor and Udhampur. The tournament was inaugurated by Col AK Sharma, Director Army welfare education society.
APS Udhampur, bagged the first prize, among both girls and boys teams. Ms Vaishali was adjudged best player from the Girls team and Master Shamsher Singh was adjudged the Best Player from the Boys team.
At the closure ceremony, Col GC Chundawat, Northern Command gave away the prizes and the certificates of appreciation to the winners. Speaking on the occasion Mr Sanjeev Kumar, Principal APS Udhampur stressed upon the importance of Sports and Games.... |
