| Shiv Sena demands not to impose any type of Tax on Amarnath Yatries | |
Jammu, May 03 (Scoop News)- Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackery) today made a strong appeal to Govt. of India as well as Govt. of J&K not to impose any type of tax on Amarnath Yatries. In a press statement issued by Shiv Sena Dimpy Kohli ( State Chief J&K ) said that few days back his party has submitted a memorandum to Governor of J&K to give more and more facilities to Amarnath Yatries and not to impose any type of tax (Zazia) on Amarnath Yatries.
He said out of seven demands Govt. has conceded their four demands and three demands are still pending . He said that he has also raised this important issue regarding Amarnath Yatra with the party M.P Sh. Chandrakant Khare and discuss this matter with him .
He said that Shri Amarnath Shrine Board must cancel 12 percent tax for the Yatries travelling to holy cave via. Helicopter .
To cancel toll taxes on vehicles entering via Lakhanpur border
To provide security cover of the tune of 20 Lakhs per Yatri and SASB also made arrangements for shifting dead bodies of the deceased people who left for heavenly abode during the Yatra due to certain reasons to their respective places free of cost.
He said that Chadra Kant Khare has fully agree with the demands of the party Jammu unit and said that all these demands are genuine and Govt. must consider all these demands in the best interests of Amarnath Yatra.
