| Army holds a medical cum veterinary camp at Basgo | | event aimed at augmenting existing state facilities for villagers and livestock | 
Basgo (Ladakh), February 7, (Scoop News)-A Medical cum Veterinary Camp was conducted on Sunday at Basgo village, Nimu under Operation Sadbhavna under the aegis of the Parashu Brigade.
The medical team comprise of expert doctors from the Army. The beneficiaries of the medical cum veterinary were a large number of villagers, which included men, women and children of Basgo and adjoining villages.
Checkup and medication of large number of cattle was also carried out by veterinary doctors of the Army during the camp.
The event was aimed at augmenting the existing state medical and veterinary facilities for the local population and their animals and livestock.
The villagers were all praise for the efforts put in by the Parashu Brigade for conducting this medical cum veterinary camp.
The camp gave the local population an opportunity to seek expert medical care and advice for themselves, their family members and their precious live stock in this remote area of our country.
The event further strengthened the bond between the Army and the local villagers who benefited from the camp. ... |
