Dr Nirmal Gupta appreciates contributions towards “Toy Bank”

Srinagar, October 8 (Scoop News)-Chairperson J&K State Social Welfare Board, Dr Nirmal Gupta appreciated the general public for responding to her request for establishing “Toy Bank” for the toddlers who play in the Creche Centres, sponsored by Central Social Welfare Board under the supervision of J&K State Social Welfare Board, for the under privileged children of the State.

She particularly appreciated a young girl Bazilla Gayas, a daughter of the soil and student of Punjab Agriculture University Ludhiana, who contributed Rs 5000, out of her personal “Eidee” for this noble cause. Dr. Gupta termed it as a small gesture, but a big leap forward, to serve the humanity. She said that society should voluntarily contribute from their wealth, for the upbringing of these lesser fortunate children, belonging to lower income groups. Dr. Gupta also appreciated President, J&K Chemists and Distributors Association Arshad Hussain Bhat and particularly Mushtaq Ahmed Pukhta and Bilal Ahmed Khan, General Secretary, who voluntarily came forward to donate first-aid kits for the Creche Centres being run by the J&K State Social Welfare Board.
