| RRUF organises volleyball matches, 48 students from four local schools participate | | awards presented to victorious teams |
Talwara/ Chakasatta, October 8, (Scoop News)_The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Talwara under the aegis of Uniform Rashtriya Rifles Force Headquarter, Reasi, conducted Volleyball matches for school students at Talwara and Chakalsalta, a defence spokesman said on Thursday.
He said forty eight students belonging to Government High School at Kambaldanga, Talwara, Panasa and Government Middle School, Kaseri participated in the tourney which drew huge crowds.
The winner’s trophy was awarded to the victorious teams of Government High School, Kambaldanga and Government High School, Panasa, the spokesman added.
He said the conduct of such sports events with an endeavour to promote village level are a big morale booster as they not only bring out the sportsman spirit but also contribute towards brotherhood among the youth.... |
