SRS, APHCC attacks Er Rasheed over beef party, slams BJP ‘silence’
Jammu, October 8 (Scoop News)- Lambasting Independent lawmaker from Langate, Er Rasheed for openly threw a ‘beef party’ in Srinagar’s MLA Hostel, Shri Ram Sena State chief Rajiv Mahajan demanded immediate his arrest for hurting sentiments of Hindu community.
Talking to reporters here today, Rajiv Mahajan, who is also spokesperson of All Party Hindu Coordination Committee (APHCC), condemned Er Rasheed for organizing beef party openly in MLA Hostel and said that such act is intolerable by Hindu community.
Rajiv warned Er Rasheed and other Valley based leaders if such anti-national act will happen in future, APHCC will ‘Gherao’ such MLAs in the MLA Hostel in Jammu after Darbar Move in winter secretariat.
Appreciating the role of only one BJP lawmaker Ravinder Raina for strongly opposing the discussion of beef bill in the assembly and raised voice against Er Rasheed, Rajiv Mahajan criticized State Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh and other BJP MLAs, who have deep roots in Hindu nationalism, for not condemning such incident.
Hitting out at National Conference and Congress Party in the State, Rajiv said both these parties play a duel policy on ‘beef issue’. Rajiv said leaders of the both the parties in Jammu protested in favour of beef ban and in the ongoing assembly session in Valley, MLAs of the both parties seek discussion on Beef Bill. He asked the NC and Congress leaders of Jammu to add Abdullah and Azad respectively in their nomenclature as they both always played a regional cards for their petty vote banks.
Rajiv further said Kashmir centric forces with such anti national activities compelling Jammuites for pressurizing Central Government to bifurcate the Jammu and Kashmir State with separate Jammu.
He also cautioned BJP asking that PDP played a double game with it as a common minimum programme prepared by them to ensure coalition government had not run effectively in the State.
Other APHCC members present in the press conference included Pritam Sharma (State President Kranti Dal), Rajesh Kesari (State President Shiv Sena Hindustan), Vikas Devan (General Secretary Rastryawadi Shiv Sena), Ved Gandotra (President Freedom Fighter Association).
