Cow slaughter in Kashmir hurt religious sentiments of Kashmiri Pandits:SKF


Jammu, October 8 (Scoop News)- Soan Kashmir Front today expressed their grave concern over the failure of the BJP-PDP coalition government in coming to the expectations of the general masses.


In this connection a meeting of Soan Kashmir Front was held today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, President Soan Kashmir Front.


Mr. Pandita while addressing the participants has said that open Cow slaughter in Kashmir valley clearly shows intentions of the present collation Government to make Kashmir a Muslim state and to clean the Kashmir valley from Hindu community. He said that open cow slaughter has hurt the religious sentiments of the Kashmiri Pandit still residing in Kashmir valley and despite of imposing ban on cow slaughter by the Hon’ble court the Government has lifted the ban.
He said that on the one hand Government has been assuring Kashmir Pandit Migrant community for their rehabilitation in Kashmir valley and on the other hand has let loose its reigns by allowing open cow slaughter and sale of beef in open in Kashmir valley.
Mr. Pandita said that Kashmiri Pandit Mirant community is well interested in their return and rehabilitation in Kashmir valley provided Satellite township is brought up for dignified living of this community. He has also demanded due political reservation to the community as well as grant of minority status.

He warned such elements who have been making false propaganda that Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community is not interested in their return and rehabilitation and has asked such elements to desist from such statements as this is likely to adversely affect the cause of the Hindu community.
A demand has been made for grant of one time compensation to each and every Kashmiri Pandit Migrant family for the losses suffered by them during past 26 years of migrant due to damages to their properties in Kashmir valley besides have demanded compensation for educated youth who have crossed over age limits and rendered unable to seek jobs.
Mr. Pandita has demanded that Police Recruitment on spot rally be held at Jagti Migrant township and sanctioning of 1000 posts for class IV and 3000 posts for other categories of employee.
