| Chhewang, Yudhvir organize booth level meetings | | 
Leh, October 7 (Scoop News)-To motivate voters and garner support for the party for LAHDC elections, BJP Member Parliament, Ladakh Thupstan Chhewang and Senior BJP Leader Yudhvir Sethi today organised mandal and block level poll meetings in Saspol and Khatsi areas.
While speaking at the poll meetings, Chhewang said that the Union government led by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi understands the unique requirements of the hilly area and focused attention is being paid to development of Ladakh. He said that the need party cadres have to make the voters aware of the various development projects, social welfare measures and the social security schemes which have been started by the government for the people.
He said with the support of the people the new council would be led by the party and the council would usher a new era of development and effective governance would be provided to the people.
Calling upon people to support the BJP’s vision for Ladakh, Yudhvir said that the party’s future vision is for progress and technological advancement of the region on a sustainable and equitable basis.
He said that the party cadres have to work at mandal and booth levels and grass root level strengthening would go a long way in establishing the party in the region. Door to door contact programs and awareness campaigns can ensure that party’s agenda and vision reaches to all, he added.
Youth leader Naresh Sharma, Saspol party candidate Wangoos party, Khaltsi candidate Lobzang Sherab along with party cadres attended the meetings.
