Ballots by post for 4101 Service Voters

Leh, Srinagar, October 5, (Scoop News)-4101 Service Voters of Leh district will franchise their vote in 5th LAHDC, Leh Election through Postal Ballot.


The Postal Ballots for the forthcoming 5th General Council Elections of LAHDC-Leh have been dispatched to all the 4101 service voters of Leh district by respective Returning Officers of the all the 26 Constituency through Postal service today.

Out of total 4101 service voters there are 3085 service voters in Leh Assembly Segment and 1016 service voters in Nubra Assembly Segment.

All the service voters of Leh district are requested to post their franchised Postal Ballots immediately so that their votes could reach to the concerned ROs before the counting of votes which is on 23rd October, 2015.


Dispatching process of Postal Ballots was done today in DC Conference hall by all the 26 Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers appointed for the Council Election in accordance with Service Voters Electoral Rolls. Required number of staffs was also deputed to help the Returning Officers.
Nodal Officer for preparation of Ballot Papers and Postal Ballot Papers Sonam Norboo said that required number of Postal Ballets has been handed over to the Returning officers constituency wise today morning.
