| SKUAST Leh organizes 2 days Conference on Precision Farming Technologies of High Himalayas | | 
Leh, Srinagar, October 5, (Scoop News)-Two days National Conference on Precision Farming Technologies of High Himalayas was inaugurated at conference hall of High Mountain Arid Agriculture Research Institute, SKUAST-K Stakna, Leh under the chairmanship of Prof. Tej Partap, Vice Chancellor SKUAST-K. Dr. P.K. Sharma, Vice Chancellor SKUAST-J and Dr. Vijay Thakur Vice Chancellor UHF, Solan were the guests of honour.
Thematic talks on different aspects of the seminar including use of plastics, greenhouse technology, micro irrigation, water conservation, orgnic farming were delivered by eminent scientists and resource persons in this two days national conference. Compendium of the seminar and publication of KVK Leh and Nyoma were released during the conference.
Invited guests from IARI New Delhi, YSP-UHP Solan HP, HP KV Palampur, Biodynamic Association of Pune, WTC New Delhi, line departments and NGOs attended the inaugural session.
