Talwara (Reasi), September 5, (Scoop News)-On the eve of Golden Jubilee celebrations of the 1965 Indo-Pak war, the Rashtriya Rifles battalion at Talwara under the aegis of Uniform Force Headquarter, Reasi screened war documentaries and patriotic movies for the students of Chaladh, Kunalagala, Barakh and Talwara, a defence spokesman said on Saturday.
"The war documentaries showcased the glorious victory of India in the 1965 war and the contribution made by the Armed Forces and people of Jammu and Kashmir to protect the motherland", he added.
The residents appreciated the effort of the Army to make the present generation aware of the glorious history of the Armed Forces, the spokesman said.... |
