| BJP Leader Ishfaq-Ur- Rehman hails RSS stand on Article 370 | |
New Delhi, September 3 (Scoop News)-BJP leader and national executive member ST Morcha, Ishfaq-Ur- Rehman Poswal on Thursday welcomed the RSS’s decision of holding a meeting to discuss Article 370,Besides other several national issues.
The RSS is advocating repeal of Article that grants special status to Jammu and Kashmir. In a statement, Poswal said that Kashmir belongs to people of India and nobody can snatch that right from the people of country.
“We must understand that Kashmiris are the citizens of this country and Kashmir belongs to India. I welcome the RSS’s stand to disuss article 370 and favour of discussion about special status to the Jammu and Kashmir state. It is indeed a good move and will bring development to the insurgency-hit state in the long run,” Poswal said.
“Kashmir has witnessed unprecedented violence and abolishing of Article 370 will encourage industrialists to invest in Kashmir and facilitate job opportunities for scores of jobless youths. The government should consider the RSS move and ensure that the Article is abolished,” he added
