Barakh, July 27, (Scoop News)-Clean India, Green India' campaign are celebrated with zeal and vigour by Rashtriya Rifles at Talwara and Kalakote under the aegis of Uniform Force Headquarters based at Reasi, a defence spokesman said on Monday.
He said the Kalakote based Rashtriya Rifles unit marked the event with `Clean India, Green India' campaign. The event highlighted the importance of greenery in the fast depleting forests in the country.
The Talwara based Rashtriya Rifles unit commemorated the event with a painting competition for school students with the theme ‘Army - Sentinels of the Nation’ at Government High School, Barakh, the spokesman added.
