Padder reviews functioning of PHE sector, dev works in Noorabad
Asks officers to perform with responsibility, ensure public delivery system
Srinagar, July 27 (Scoop News)-Minister of State for PHE, Irrigation, Forest and Animal Husbandry, Abdul Majeed Padder today convened meetings with the officers of Public Health Engineering Department and officers of Sub Division D.H Pora and reviewed the pace of developmental works.
While reviewing the functioning of PHE sector in Noorabad constituency, Padder enjoined upon the concerned officers to ensure supply of adequate drinking water to the people and complete all ongoing projects so that people do not face any difficulty for want of drinking water. He also directed speedy completion of repairs and restoration works.
The Minister also held a review meeting with the functionaries of Sub Division D.H.Pora and took stock of ongoing developmental works besides stock and supply position of essential commodities.
The meeting was attended by the SDM, D.H Pora, besides officers of Revenue, R&B, PHE, PDD, CA&PD, Health, Forest, PMGSY, Irrigation & Flood Control and other departments.
Padder asked R&B department to handover the building of PHC, Denewmarg and PHC Nagam to Health departments so that these health centers are made functional and patients are provided healthcare facilities. He also asked officers of PMGSY to complete ongoing road project for the convenience of public at an earliest.
The Minister also gave directions to the officers of PHE, PDD to ensure supply of drinking water and electricity in the subdivision, besides he asked CA&PD authorities for adequate stocks and supplies of essentials.
The Minister asked the employees to work for the public and never make people suffer for want of basic amenities and ensure public delivery system. He said employees who perform duties with zeal and dedication will be appreciated while those who exhibit negligence in their job will be punished.
He said Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Syed has made it clear that corrupt and negligent employees have no space in State administration and will be dealt with strictly as per law.
