APMCC organises 4th annual Mahayagya at Mata Katyayani Temple Kakran



Kakran(Kulgam), July 26 (Scoop News)-Around fifteen hundred Kashmiri Hindu devotees today thronged the ancient and historical temple of Mata Katyayani at village Kakran in Kulgam district on 4th Annual Mahayagya organised by Harmukh Ganga (Gangbal) Trust (HGGT) and supported by All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) after reconstructing the four temples and a huge Dharamshala within the complex. Kashmiri Hindus reached Katyayani temple on July 23 when the Mahayagya began while the Purna Ahuti was performed on July 24 where hundreds more joined them besides some dignitaries. The temple wore a festive look as the remaining restoration and decorative work was undertaken under the supervision of APMCC Chairman Vinod Pandit who has been camping at Kakran for the past more than two months.

According to King Bharati, National Spokesperson APMCC, the Katyayani Temple is like a jewel in the crown of APMCC achievements since 2005 as it is not only one of the biggest temples that APMCC has reconstructed, but is also the most beautiful one which has been expanded by initiating the construction of a huge Dharamshala (Lalded Bhawan) within the complex adding the Kalhana Library was also in the pipeline.. Chand Ji Bhat, who is the native of village Kakran said that team APMCC lead by vinod pandit was also organising the 7th annual Gangbal Yatra,as per schedule next month.

Meanwhile addressing the devotees at Kakran temple Joginder Singh Jamwal said that their organisation has vowed to get famous Temple Bill passed after incorporating all the 15 amendments suggested by the actual ground level working temple committees adding Mufti government too must involve people from the ground level before finalising any return plan for Kashmiri migrants. Sunil Kumar Trakroo said that APMCC was committed to its 6-point charter of demands for which APMCC chairman had gone for 15-Day long fast unto death. Giving details Usha Nakhasi said that the first Mahayagya was organised at Mata Katyayani temple in Kakaran village in October 2012 during which Murti Sthapna took place. The temple which was completely damaged was reconstructed by APMCC. Prominent among those who attended the function include Capt Narayan Singh, the person who had originally constructed the new temple four decades back, Mahinder Singh, Ashok Singh, Manoj Bhat, Sohan Singh, Shashi Ji, Akhil Koul, Rajat Bhat,Manoj Ji, Kuljeet Singh, Rakesh Pandita, Baby Bhat, Vinod Tikoo all of APMCC
