| Div Com reviews stock, supply position of Ladakh region | | Srinagar, July 24 (Scoop News)-The Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Samoon convened a high level officers meeting here today and reviewed the stock and supply position of Ladakh region.
The meeting was attended by various officers of Kashmir division besides representatives of Sindh View Transport Union, Ganderbal and Zafran Truck Union Khrew.
Threadbare discussions were held on various issues regarding supply of cement trucks and other essential commodities to Ladakh region, repairs renovation and widening work on national highway and other related issues.
Dr. Samoon directed the concerned authorities to ensure supply of 25 cement trucks daily to Ladakh regions so that the requirements of the people would be fulfilled. He also reviewed the repairs renovation and widening work of national Highways of Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag, Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri, Bandipora-Gurez, Baramulla-Kupwara-Chowkibal, Payerpora-Gothamdori, Kralpora-Meelyal, Handwara Lach Nowgam, Chokibal Rangdari-Chamkoot, Hajibal-Zedgali Machil and Baramulla-Uri-Kaman Post roads and directed the Border Roads Organisation authorities to take proper care of said national highways.
The Divisional Commissioner also reviewed the relief and rehabilitation process of flood victims. He directed the authorities to make ensure implementation of ongoing developmental works in the valley so that the people could be benefitted by the developmental process.
