Minister visits short circuit affected villages in Marh
Asks admn for early compensation
Jammu, July 06 (Scoop News)-Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Sukhnandan Kumar Choudhary today visited Khaden, Paryal, Bachyal, and adjoining villages of March Block to assess the damages caused to people and their property due to short circuit that occurred here last night.
Among others, Chief Engineer PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, XEN PDD, SDM Marh, BDO Marh, other senior officers, prominent citizens, Sarpanchs and Panchs accompanied the Minister.


During his visit to affected areas, the Minister was apprised that fifty seven assamies including 49 in village Khaden, 7 in village paryal and 1 in village Bachyal. He was informed that two persons have been injured in these areas besides appliances including 121 fans, 21 televisions, 2 LEDs, 24 refrigerator, 25 motors (water pump), 6 coolers, 2 music systems, 4 invertors, 1 Cable System and landline phone systems have also been damaged in this mishap.
The Minister directed the local administration to assess the total damage caused to the people and their properties so that the affected could be compensated accordingly at the earliest.
