Jamaat-e-Islami wants Kashmir not to be shown in Indian films

Anantnag, May 25 (Scoop News)- Accusing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of promoting moral waywardness and indecency systematically in Kashmir, General Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Kashmir Dr Hamid Fayaz on Sunday said that they don’t want Kashmir to be shown in films.
Addressing a daylong annual congregation of district Anantnag, he said, “People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is systematically promoting moral waywardness and indecency in Kashmir, We don’t want Kashmir to be shown in films as bringing film stars here will no way benefit us but can more degrade our society.” he said,
He said that the collation government has been spending crores of Rupees on visits of film stars to the valley but have altogether forgotten the flood affected people. “They spend crores for Indian films starts but couldn’t rehabilitate flood affected homeless people,” Said, Hamid Fayaz.
Ridiculing Indian Defence minister Manohar Parkiar for recent controversial comment, Fayaz said that India is trying reactivating Ikawan for nefarious designs and political interests.
“We will not allow India to reuse such tactics in the form of Ikhwan for which we have laid down our lives. Repeating and reactivating any such designs again will see a repeat of India getting defeated.” Fayaz said.
Fayaz said that Jamaat has been the worst victim of terrorism unleashed through government sponsored gun men-Ikhwan. “We cannot forget the day when Jamat members, workers and even sympathizers were shot dead in broad day light in the streets of South Kashmir,” he added.
Fayaz accused Arab countries of supporting conspiracies hatched by US and Israel against Islam and appealed Muslim Ummah to get united. “ Us- Israel and its allies are responsible for spilling of blood in Iraq, Yeman, Syria, Egypt , Palestine and Libya and unfortunately the Arab countries have been have become puppets of US,” said Fayaz.
Fayaz also condemned crackdown against Ikhwanul-Muslimeen (Muslim Brotherhood) and its supporters in Egypt said, “It is ironical that democratically elected government was not allowed to flourish in Egypt by so called champions of democracy including US as it did not adhere to their diktats.
He said that a conspiracy was hatched by US and Israel to oust Mursi who is now facing death sentence.”
“It was unfortunate that Saudi government forged an alliance with Zionists and US for their own petty interests. It has never supported democracy as monarchy and dictatorship is in their interest,” said Fayaz.

Fayaz also took a dig on Sheikh Hasina lead government for persecuting Jamat-I-Islami members.
