Mirwaiz thanks people for making APHC & AAC sponsered programmes a success
criticises authorities for imposing restrictions


Srinagar, May 21, (Scoop News)-All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) spokesman, Thursday berated the state authorities for continuing with the bossy practices of its predecessors to appease their mentors by imposing unannounced restrictions in the valley and prevent people from converging at Eidgah


The spokesman said that to commemorate the death anniversaries of Mirwaiz Mohammad Farooq and Abdul Gani Lone, a peaceful rally was planned by APHC at Eidgah, to offer collective tributes to the slain leaders and others.

Ridiculing the government sponsored curfews, restrictions, house arrests, and other forms of repression, the hurriyat spokesman sternly condemned these oppressive measures and said that the resolve of the leaders and the people gets more and more strengthened and their commitment towards their goal reaffirmed by these measures.

Meanwhile, APHC leader thanked people for observing the strike and making Hafta Shahadat programmes a success. He hailed the resolve of the people in the face of adversity and hardships that they face on a daily basis and yet extend their full support and cooperation to the ongoing struggle. Mirwaiz also thanked the AAC and Hurriyat activists for their cooperation to make the Hafta Shadat programme a success.

A commemorative function was also held at Central press club Muzaffarabad, capital of Pak administered Kashmir by the government and the local chapter of APHC. All religious and political parties of PaK participated in the function. Glowing tributes were paid to Mirwaiz Mohammad Farooq and Abdul Gani Lone.

Addressing the gathering over phone, APHC leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that the struggle for which Kashmiris have offered and continue to offer sacrifices will continue till our political future is not achieved.
