| Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre organising recruitment rally early next month | |
Leh April 24, (Scoop News)-Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre will be organising a recruitment rally for Infantry Solder General Duty (GD) and Infantry Soldier Tradesmen categories at Phyang from May 7 to 10 May, a senior defence official said on Friday.
He said soldier (General Duties) candidates should belong either to Leh, Kargil or Buddhists from Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir state only. Soldier Tradesmen categories s.n should belong to all India classes (AIAC).
"Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i,e from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of Palm /back s.n (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body is not acceptable and candidate will be barred from further screening", the official added.
All candidates, he said, are advised to get their ears cleaned from ENT Specialist and filling done in decayed teeth before recruitment rally as the same is the main cause of rejection by medical authorities.
"To obtain further details and guidance about recruitment rally scheduled at above place, candidates can report to the s.n Company Commander/ Battalion Commander of their respective Military Units located closest to them", the official said
