BJP’s stand has been vindicated: Sunil Sethi

Jammu, March 29 (Scoop News)-The final report of Justice R.C. Gandhi, which has indicted NC leader and senior officials, has vindicated the stand of the BJP that the then local MLA ( MoS Home) was responsible for Kishtwar riots. This was stated by BJP State Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi while addressing press conference along with State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan.
Sunil Sethi said that the findings of Justice R.C.Gandhi Commission have made it crystal clear that it was the then MoS Home Sajjad Ahmed Kitcloo, who played the main role in Kishtwar riots and used his position to influence IGP, DIG and DC Kishtwar to act in a biased manner.
Demanding immediate action on the final report of Justice R.C. Gandhi Commission, the BJP Spokesperson said that Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo and the said police and civil officials have been, on the whole, found responsible for August 2013 Kishtwar riots and hence FIR should be registered against them and they all be arrested at the earliest so that justice is delivered to the people of Kishtwar.
Sunil Sethi took the NC leadership to task for opposing the final report adding that if NC accepted the interim report of the Commission, why is it opposing the final report as interim report is never the final conclusion of the entire exercise of inquiry which involves lengthy sittings, collecting evidences, recording of statements of affected people and questioning of the witnessses. The final report should be honoured and accepted by the NC.
Sethi also slammed NC leaders who have been painting BJP as communal adding that the recent utterances of NC MLA Javed Rana about Speaker of the State Assembly made it clear that in reality it is NC and its leaders who are communal from the core of their hearts.
