JKYSAC for liberation of PoK from the illegal possession of Pakistan


Jammu, March 28 (Scoop News)- A meeting of JK Youth Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKYSAC) was held under the leadership of its president Pt RC Sharma strongly demanded the liberation of PoK from the illegal possession of Pakistan and asked the PDP-BJP coalition government to start process in this connection.

While addressing the meeting, Mr Sharma asked the Mufti Mohammed Sayeed to raise the issue of liberation of Pak occupied Kashmir from the illegal occupation of Pakistan as PoK refugees are anxious to settle back in their native places. He said that PoK refugees were awaiting since their exodus to go back their native place but now the firmness of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir has strengthened the hope of PoK refugees to settle back at their native place. He said that PoK is bone of contention between Pakistan and India and so that area should be retrieved from Pakistan to strengthen the Jammu & Kashmir state and to restore the peace in South Asia. He said that due to illegal position of PoK by the Pakistan has created a chaos in the region and its ultimate solution is to get the PoK liberated from the clutches of Pakistan and it is the only demand of PoK refugees. He asked Mufti to prepare ‘Self Rule policy’ to re-unite the unfortunate divided state and retrieve the PoK from Pakistan, within the constitution of India.

Mr Sharma said that meanwhile the state government and center government should provide relief and rehabilitation package to the sufferings PoK refugees including the creation of Refugee Development Board; defreezing of 12 MLA seats out of 24 reserved seats for PoK; equal allotment of land to the PoK refugees as per the record as how many they have left in PoK; 10 percent reservation in government jobs; Rs 15000 per month for per family of PoK refugees according to the existing families; health insurance upto Rs 10 lakh per member; free power supply in PoK refugees’ camps; free water supply in PoK refugees’ camps; make iot mandatory to post government staff belonging to refugee families in every government institution like schools, hospitals and others located in refugee camps; free education upto top level; reservation in professional colleges; and 70 percent concession in railway and air fares to travel across the country.
Inviting the attention of Prime Minister, he said that PoK refugees are hoping that PoK would be liberated by Narender Modi and PoK refugees would get justice as this has been confirmed by a resolution, which was unanimously passed in both houses of parliament in 1996 and the then BJP top stalwarts have supported the resolution. He asked Mr Modi to prepare a strategy from day one to liberate our native place within a period of one year and year 2016 should be a good year for us and we may get settle in our native place.
