| SAA offers to provide aircrafts in BGSBU | | University Polytechnic hold career counselling session for students | Rajouri, March 27 (Scoop News)- Star Aviation Academy (SAA) has offered providing aircrafts in Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University so that to start a course on Air Craft Maintenance Engineering in collaboration with the BGSB University.
Addressing students of University Polytechnic in career counselling session on Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses which was organised by University Polytechnic in collaboration with Placement Cell of the University, SS Kakkar Assistant Director Star Aviation Academy Gurgaon has offered to position 2 to 3 aircrafts in BGSB University Campus so that it can start a course on Air Craft Maintenance Engineering in collaboration with the University. He said that by doing so BGSB University will be first University in the state to have such a course and University authority should consider the offer and enter in MoU with the Academy.
It is pertinent to mention here that on the directions of Vice Chancellor Prof. IA Hamal to secure better placements and career opportunities for the students of BGSBU, the University Polytechnic College in coordination with the Placement Cell organised a career counselling session on Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses. Mr. S.S Kakkar Asst. Director Star Aviation Academy Gurgaon conducted the session. In the session Mr. Kakkar delivered lecture and gave presentation to the students of University Polytechnic College.
The final year students of all the disciplines of the Polytechnic College whole heartedly participated in the session and asked very searching questions to gain further knowledge towards the end of the session. In total 80 to 90 diploma Engineering students participated in the event.
Before the commencement of the session attended by the members of the faculty of the Polytechnic College Prof. KK Dogra Principal and Dr. Sameer Raina Training & Placement Officer gave comprehensive talk with respect to the Aviation Engineering and its scopes for better careers to make the students knowledgeable about the subject.
