Leh police cracks blind murder
9 accused arrested
Leh,March 25 (Scoop News)- Leh police cracked a blind murder case of a lecturer who was found dead in his residential quarter at an institute in Choglamsar Leh. Police has arrested nine accused persons involved in the murder.
According to the District police administration, Jigme Tsultim resident of Gangtok Sikkim a lecturer at Central Institute of Buddhist studies (CIBS) Choglamsar Leh was found dead in his resident quarter on 19-03-2015.
Leh police registered a case FIR No 27/2015 under section 302 RPC in Police station Leh the investigation was entrusted to Inspector Stanzin Dorjey Addl. SHO police station Leh under the close supervision of Sh. T.Gyalpo Additional Sp Leh.
During the investigation, Leh police after working out all possible angles zeroed in on two suspected youth from Pyang village Leh. Their questioning led to the arrest of seven more accused who were involved in the murder.
The arrested accused were identified as Chosphel Dorhey son of Nawnag Norbu resident of Chaa, Zanskar Kargil, Tundup Namgail son of Tsewang Sangdup resident of Stakna Leh, Thinles Nima son of Tsering Dorjey resident of Achinathang Leh, Rigzin Tamchos son of Tsewang tashi resident of Bodhkharbu Kargil, Rinchen Nurbu son of Punchik resident of Stakna Leh, Tundup Wangyal son of Sonam Wangyal resident of kargil, Loobzang Tsephel son of Nawang Tundup resident of Pidmo, zanskar Kargil, Padma Stanzin son of Stanzin Angchuk resident of Domkhar Leh and Tundup Norbu son of Tsering Dorjay resident of Pyang Leh.
