| Seminar on “Health is wealth” under CAP organized at Doda | | Doda, February 26, (Scoop News)- J&K Police district Doda organized a seminar on “Health is wealth” under Civic Action Program (CAP) for the year 2014-15, here today.
Deputy Supdt. of Police, Hqrs. Doda, Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmed, during his introductory speech, laid emphasis on adopting annual medical examination, balanced diet and hygienic environmental conditions for a longer life and keeping the diseases at bay.
Dr. Mohd Yaqoob, CMO Doda who was the chief guest on the occasion said that health is precious and in order to keep diseases at bay away, one needs to follow the simple formula of “Prevention is better than cure”.
On the occasion, a number of resource persons delivered lectures and threadbare discussion was held on swine flu(HINI virus) and various preventive measures.
