| Girl attempts suicide in Budgam | |
Srinagar, February 26, (Scoop News)- In a bid to end her life a girl from Beerwah area of Budgam district consumed some poisonous substance at her home last evening.
Police said that a 20 years old girl (name withheld) resident Zabigul consumed some poisonous substance at her home, in the jurisdiction of police station Beerwah, Budgam. She was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. Budgam Police has registered a case in this regard.
Fire incidents
Fire broke out in the shop of Peer Abdul Qayoom son of Peer Abdul Majeed resident of Poshwari Pattan, Baramulla resulting in complete damage to the shop.
Fire broke out in the kitchen of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Sofa resident of Darwarki Kocha Kalashpora, in the jurisdiction of Police Post Urdu Bazar, resulting in partial damaged to the kitchen room. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders and local Police.
