| Op Sadbhavana provides basic amenities to the local population of Suru valley | | 
Srinagar, December 11, (Scoop News)- Forever in Operations Division has been contributing towards improvement of Quality of Life of local population in numerous welfare activities under Op Sadbhavana like rescue operations, provision of medical assistance, Bakarwal Mela, provision of educational facilities and improvement of infrastructure in local villages. In order to continue the process of upliftment of local population, informal interaction was carried out with the local population of villages of Kargil and Suru valley to ascertain their problems and requirements.
As a step in this direction, based on the needs of the local people, Army procured necessary items of necessity to be distributed to various villages as required by them. To distribute these items, an event was conducted on 10 December 2014 at Khumbathang by Top Gun Brigade on behalf of Forever in Operations Division wherein amenity items were distributed to Numberdars and Sarpanches of local villages.
The aim of the event was to provide basic amenities to the local population and to instil spirit of National integration and facilitate their daily lives.
