| BJP welcomes poll announcement | | 
Jammu, October 25, (Scoop News)- The State unit of BJP has welcomed the Jammu and Kashmir poll schedule announced by Election Commission of India to start on November 25 in five phases.
In a press statement issued here today, BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, while welcoming the decision of Election Commission to hold polls in Jammu and Kashmir, said that the entire BJP leadership and our activists at State, District, Mandal and booth levels are ready for these elections.
“Some political parties were opposing to hold the polls on one pretext or the other as they were feeling isolated and insecure and did not have courage to face the people of the state in the elections”, he said.
As far BJP is concerned, the party cadre is ready to go to the public and expressed hope that our Mission 44+ will be achieved and BJP will form its government for the first time and create history in Jammu and Kashmir.
The people were already fed with the present NC-Congress coalition government and were waiting eagerly for an opportunity to teach them lesson and the time has come for the same, he said.
