| To realize 44+, BJP must end Kashmiri rulers’ hypocrisy: SRS | |
Jammu, October 20, (Scoop News)- Shri Ram Sena Jammu and Kashmir while expressing its happiness over the overwhelming victory of Bhartiya Janta Party in Haryana and Maharashtra assembly elections, congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team for ousting the previous inefficient and corrupt governments from those states.
In a press release issued here today, Shri Ram Sena state president Rajiv Mahajan said, now it is the turn of Jammu and Kashmir State to relieve it from the corrupt and biased state coalition government of Congress and National Conference. Shri Ram Sena vows to extend its unconditional support to BJP if it (BJP) assures to end the hypocrisy of Kashmiri rulers and treat all the three regions of state- Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir alike.
Commenting on the BJP’s slogan of 44+ in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajiv Mahajan said it will be only possible if BJP adopts steps to do away with the discrimination of Kashmiri rulers meted out with the people of Jammu and Ladakh regions. In this regard Mahajan said that the central government must devise mechanism that whatever the Central funds are sent to J&K state are divided proportionately in 3 shares to three regions of state i.e, Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir and there should be no upper hand of any Kashmiri ruler in that.
Highlighting the issue of recruitments in government services, Mahajan said that the discrimination with the people of Jammu and Ladakh regions at the hands of Kashmiri rulers has crossed all limits. He said and added that in the high office of civil secretariat 90 percent people are engaged from Kashmir division and only 10 percent are engaged from Jammu and Ladakh regions. Mahajan demanded a rational employment in civil secretariat from all the three regions of state.
Taking the issue of Kashmiri Pandit migrants dwelling in Jammu, Mahajan said that it is unfortunate that Kashmiri Pandit migrants in Jammu consume the share of Jammu people in respect of employment and rations and other facilities, but their vote bank is in Kashmir. Mahajan said if they are consuming the quota of Jammu people, their vote bank must be in Jammu and not in Kashmir.
Mahajan stated if BJP wants to realize the dream of 44+ in Jammu and Kashmir, it must immediately take measures to ameliorate its strategy and work upon the above mentioned issues and in that case Shri Ram Sena will unconditionally provide its full-fledged support to BJP in its endeavor to end Kashmiri rulers’ highhandedness.
Meanwhile, SRS chief Rajiv Mahajan threatened to field its candidates in all the 87 assembly seats, if BJP did not initiate its pro Jammu and pro Ladakh policy within one week and make the announcement public in this regard.
