Assembly elections in the state should be held at the earliest:BSP
Jammu, September 30, (Scoop News)- Bahujan Samaj Party State President Tulsi Dass Langeh and State Gen. Sec. Rakesh Wazir in a joint statement asked the election Commission of India for early elections in J&K quite well before the expiry date of the present Government.
The Leaders said that even the noble relief and re-habilitation funds ment for the badly hit victims of floods in J&K are boldly being used for the political mileage in our State by the ruling Party and there had been day to day complaints of all other leading Political Parties in the State as well in this regard and all these Parties are openly opposing the way of such distribution of relief which benefits openly to a particular Political party in power even out of this nobel offering of relief aids in huge from all the sections of the society of India that too against their wishes, aims and purposes, as a result that work is being hampered badly. Therefore to stop all this in the relief and rehabilitation work in J&K the BSP is of considered opinion that elections be announced in the State immediately so that code of conduct with the administrative control of Election commission of India is announced in our state enabling forth with stoppage of misuse of the relief and rehabilitation huge amounts of aids now pouring in from all the sides in our state, by a particular political party that too during the elections period and administration may be able to do re habilitation work with out any interference from any quarter.
They further said that the remaining long term re-habilitation work is also desired to be done through the new popular Government to be in power and if the elections are not held overhere in due time the State is bound to come under Governors rule and that is what no one would like to have in this State. They further said that since the term of government is expiring on January and thus the effected Srinagar District and other flood effected areas elections alone could be held in the last phase, somewhere in between 15th Dec. to 20th Dec. and in these two and half months the things would also be normal in those areas as well.
