| Shah appeals people to refrain from looting relief material meant for flood victims | |
Srinagar, September 19, (Scoop News)_ Expressing satisfaction over the mutual assistance showed by the people of Kashmir during the course of floods, Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir leader, Shabir Ahmad Shah, urged people to refrain from indulging in unethical means of looting relief meant for the deserving.
Shah expressed these words on Friday while touring the flood affected areas of south Kashmir and adjacent areas of Srinagar.
He said the relief and local committees responsible for collecting and distributing relief should be made more mechanized so as to ensure the relief reaches the deserving without any obstacles.
Shah also visited Raj Bagh, Dalgate, Ompora, Goripora and Hyderpora areas and distributed relief among the victims.
