| Police efforts for clearance of garbage continues | | 
Srinagar,September 19, (Scoop News)- Police deputed teams for clearance of garbage in some flood hit areas of Srinagar.
Several teams of police Jawans alongwith trucks and tractors were deputed in flood affected areas in and around Batamaloo, Sher Garhi and Sonwar areas to clear the garbage from the main roads.
Contingents of Police and Traffic police were deputed for traffic regulations in Reki Chowk Batamaloo, Magarmal Bagh , Sher Garhi and Parimpora.
Police Hospital Srinagar established a Medical Camp at Batamaloo and wherein patients were examined by a team of doctors and were given free medicines.
JKAP 9th Bn organized a relief camp at Pohroo, Nowgam where essential commodities Rice, Mineral water, Milk, Baby food, Dals, Ground nut and Maggi were distributed among the flood victims. A Medical camp was also organized at the same place.
