| PM’s Teachers’ Day address: arrangements made in Udhampur schools for live viewing | | Udhampur,September 02, (Scoop News)- District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Mrs. Yasha Mudgal today discussed arrangements for viewing of live telecast of Teachers’ Day address of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi in the schools of the district.
Chairing a meeting of Education Department functionaries, the DC directed them to make available adequate arrangements for viewing and listening of the PM’s Address on television, radio and internet on September 5 - the Teachers Day.
Special instructions in this regard were issued to the Chief Education Officer, Zonal Education Officers, Principals and Head masters for making necessary arrangements for the live broadcast of PM speech to be telecast from 3 pm to 4.45 pm.
Pertinent to mention that that Ministry of Human Resources Development has issued a directive to all the States to make arrangements to enable the students to view and listen the PM’s address in schools .
The DDC asked Officers of Education Department to make necessary arrangements for live broadcast of PM speech through television, radio or internet at the school level. She directed all concerned to ensure full presence of students in all schools at the time of address.
Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, N.S. Jamwal, Assistant Commissioner Development, Pawan Parihar, Sub- Divisional Magistrate Dudu Basantgarh, Deep Kumar, Chief Education Officer, Zonal Education Officers, Principals and Headmasters were present in the meeting.
