Jhajjar Kotli to be developed as major tourist spot:BSP

Jhajjar Kotli,August 31, (Scoop News)- Bahujan samaj party State Gen. sectary and candidate Nagrota assembly constituency Rakesh Wazir during his tour to Nagrota Constituency took a public meeting at Jhajjar kotli and said that Jhajjar Kotli would be developed as major tourist spot if he becomes the MLA of the constituency and every effort would be made to increase the compensation of land taken by National Highway authorities besides rehabilitation of the markets & people who had been un employed due to the coming up of this new highway like Nagrota,Nandni,Suketar,Jhajjar kotli ,Manthel etc.
Wazir lambasted the BJP which represents this Constituency and NC - Congress which are ruling this state for completely ignoring the beautiful spots of Nagrota constituency including Jhajjar kotli which could have been developed as a major tourist spot where one crore Vaishnodevi visiting pilgrims could have been diverted by which the employment and revenue generation to the area could have been done.
Wazir further said these Leaders did nothing else except putting name plates and making false promises for different projects which had never even started.
Wazir said that though the compensation of the national highway was to be paid by the central government but categerocially the state government recommended their rates so low that even the stamp duty and registration fee of lands if given free amounts more than the commpensation paid to the people which ranges from 60,000/- to 70,000/- per kanal at Sakaiter Domail and a little higher at Jhajjar Kotli in comparision to Rs. 10 lakh to 20 lakh per kanal given to the people at Kashmir and these leaders acted as mute spectators and rather helped the authorities in the displacement of the people without their rehabilitation and asked the people to change these leaders for the betterment of the constituency.
The public meeting among others was addressed by Gardhari lal, Satish Baru,Madhu Charak etc.
