| No encroachment, DC Leh in touch with his HP counterpart: Gurezi | | Srinagar, August 30, (Scoop News)-Minister of State for Sheep and Animal Husbandry, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi while replying, on behalf of Minister(I/c) Revenue, on a Calling Attention Notice of Nurboo Gialchan informed the House today that Sercho area of block Nyoma falls on the border of Leh and Himachal Pradesh (HP) and generally people cross over to either side for grazing their cattle.
The Minister said that Deputy Commissioner Leh has been asked to pursue the matter vigorously to ensure that no permanent encroachment takes place in the area. Regarding the issue of demarcation of boundary between Leh and Himachal Pradesh, the Minister said that Deputy Commissioner is in touch with his counter parts in Himachal Pradesh and the matter is being discussed between the district administrations of both the states to resolve the dispute.
