| Gurezi for proper rehabilitation of land owners of Kishanganga Hydel Power Project | | Gurezi, August 20, (Scoop News)- Minister of State for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today visited various areas in Tehsil Gurez and took stock of various ongoing developmental works in the area, besides listing people’s problems.
During his visit, the Minister convened a meeting with the prominent citizens of Buduwon Wanpora and Khooperi villages and discussed various issues related to compensation and construction of Houses, who have donated their land for Kishanganga Hydel Power project, at Buduwon.
The Minister asked the officers of Kishanganga Hydel Power project to provide immediate compensation to the land owners of Duduwon Wampora and Khooperi villages and demanded for proper rehabilitation of these land owners.
A team of officers of various departments accompanied the Minister during his visit.
