| DG Prisons hoists National Flag at Central Jail | | Srinagar, August 15, (Scoop News)- On the eve of 68th Independence Day, the Director General of Prisons P.L. Gupta, hoisted the National Flag at Central Jail Srinagar. The Deputy Inspector General of Prisons Dr. M. S. Lone, Superintendent Central Jail Srinagar Javid Masood Fazili, Staff Officer to DG Prisons Saba Shawl and other Officers and Prisons staff were present on the occasion.
Besides, Independence Day was also celebrated with zeal and fervour in other Jails of the State. National flags were hoisted by the Superintendents in all the Jails of J&K. Cultural programmes were organized & sweets were distributed among the inmates and staff
