Clear ending liabilities of salaries, wages: Vakil to CM

Srinagar ,Jly 27 (Scoop News)- Sr. Vice President J&K PCC, Former Minister and Member AICC Abdul Gani Vakil today in a statement expressed his serious concern over the bankruptcy of State Government. He said that the Government employees, daily wagers, casual labourers have not been paid their dues on this auspicious occasion of Eid and consequently are facing lot of difficulties to meet the both ends of life. Mr. Vakil said that empty treasuries on the occasion of Eid is a clear indication that situation has gone from bad to worse which will prove disastrous for the state. He said that if government is not able to discharge its basic liabilities it has no right to govern the State. Keeping in view the bankruptcy scenario that has never been experienced in the State. He said that Government is responsible for putting people into trouble and snatched their joy and happiness. He appealed Chief Minister to take corrective measures so that pending liabilities of contractors, salaries, wages etc are cleared at earliest.
