| PDP to rigorously take up people’s issues: Bhat | |
Srinagar, July 27 (Scoop News)- A meeting of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) workers of Wachi assembly segment, in Shopian district, was Sunday, held at Reshipora Shopian. The meeting was organized to formulate a strategy for the coming assembly elections.
Speaking on the occasion Advocate Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, district president Peoples Democratic Party Shopian and candidate for Shopian constituency, emphasized upon the workers to strengthen the party at grass root level and make people aware about the people friendly policies of the party. He assured the party cadres that the problems of the people will be rigorously taken up with the government.
All the participants expressed their solidarity with the party and unanimously decided to support the candidate, which will be nominated by the party high command. Various public issues regarding the development of constituency were discussed. The workers expressed their displeasure over the deliberate neglect of the constituency by the ruling dispensation. The other speakers who addressed the meeting were Mohd Khalil Naikoo, Gh. Mohiudin Wani, Ab. Rashid Mir, Muzaffer Jan Wagay, Fayaz Ahmad and Adv. Aijaz Ahmad Mir and others.
