| Female dental surgeons hunger strike enters 15th day | |
Jammu, July 27, (Scoop News)- Dental Surgeons Association Jammu Kashmir (DSA-JK) today on 26-07-2014 continued their Dharna for 27nd consecutive day & female hunger strike entering 15th day, with Dr.MONIKA CHOPRA sitting on fast. This is very sad on the part of INCUMBENT GOVT. that despite of female dental surgeons sitting on hunger strike even the single representative from govt has not come to know the situation being through they are passing which clearly in justify the vague policies of govt like UMEED.
Chairman of DSA-JK Dr. Pawan Singh said that today we burnt our aprons which are of no use to us now to show anger and resentment against the govt and ill fitted polices of state NC-CONGRESS GOVT towards skilled youth.
Dr.singh said that this clearly seems that govt is now totally sidelining and ignoring the agendas of civil society in lieu of coming elections which will be proven as self-inflicting harms to them. Dr.singh again said that the coalition govt has no right to remain in power if they can not fulfil the genuine demands of people who votes for them.
Dr. Singh also appealed everyone to come forward and join our candle light march on 28th of july 2014 at 7.00 pm from dharna place amphalla for genuine cause on humanitarian grounds.
He also said that our protest will continue till our demands are met and is going to take more serious and harsh nature in the coming days and the Govt. will be responsible for any uneventful happenings
The demands of the association are Complete absorption of unemployed dental youth. Recruitment of dental surgeons on every year basis. Establish separate directorate for dental health in the state.
