| I-Day Arrangements Discussed at Nyoma | |
Leh,July 21, (Scoop News)-To celebrate the Independence Day, 2014 at Nyoma, Changthang in a befitting way the SDM, Nyoma, Kacho Turab Shah today took a block level officers meeting and finalized the programme schedule.
In order to ensure overall preparations and arrangements various committees of officers were formed. It was decided that flag hoisting ceremony would be held at 10 a.m. followed by march past and cultural programme. He urged upon the officers to extend their utmost cooperation to make the Independence Day a great success.
In an another meeting with officers at Nyoma today, Shah urged upon all the executing agencies to accelerate the pace of developmental works in Changthang keeping in view the fast running working season in the region.
In view of the approaching State Assembly Election this year, the SDM stressed on the need for extra effort by all the executing agencies to complete the targeted work in the remaining working period so that the people of Changthang are timely benefited by the development policies of the govt.
