3 candidates file Nomination at Leh | | Leh, April 18, (Scoop News)- On the 7th day of filing of nomination papers for 4-Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency, three candidates Sayed Kazim Sabri (Independent), Anayat Ali (Independent) and Mohammad Amin (Independent) filed their nomination papers today in the office of the Returning Officer at Leh.
With today’s filing of three nominations, a total of five candidates including Tsering Samphel candidate of Indian National Congress, Ladakh Thupstan Chhewang candidate of BJP have filed their nominations till date.
It may be mentioned here that a total number of 1,59,631 voters will exercise their voting rights at 531 polling stations for the Ladakh Constituency at both Leh and Kargil districts which include 80,994 male and 78,637 female voters.
In Leh District there are 39,812 male and 39,230 female voters with a total of 79,042 voters to vote at 274 polling stations and in Kargil District there are 41,182 male and 39,407 female voters with a total of 80,589 voters to vote at 257 polling stations.
