| Cong, NC responsible for exodus of Kashmiri Hindus: Gosani | |
Jammu,April 16, (Scoop News)- A handful of people from Kashmiri Pandit community have become puppets in the hands of Congress and NC leaders. These people are appealing the community to vote for NC-Congress candidates, which is very unfortunate. It was stated by BJP Migrant Cell State Convenor Bharat Bhushan Gosani while addressing media persons at party headquarters on Wednesday.
Bharat Bhushan Gosani said that with Lok Sabha elections in progress, the leaders of NC and Congress are fearing the defeat of their candidates. The past role of both these parties have invited widespread anger and resentment among the people. The Kashmiri Hindu migrants too have suffered during the rule of NC and Congress. Gosani, while rejecting the appeal of some Kashmiri Hindu leaders to vote for NC and Congress candidates, said that they should first question the NC as to why it failed to ensure safety of minorities in Kashmir in 90s which forced mass migration from valley. They should also question why the Congress and NC did not take any result oriented honest steps to ensure dignified return of Kashmiri Hindus to their native places in Kashmir.
The BJP leader said that it is BJP and only BJP which genuinely deserve every single vote of Kashmiri Hindus and not the Congress, which is responsible for our forced migration and miseries. He said that the BJP extended every possible help to the poor and needy migrant Pandits in Jammu and other parts of the country. It was the BJP ruled states which granted reservation for migrant students in their technical and professional educational institutions due to which our educated youth is today working at respectable positions which otherwise could have become beggars. The Kashmiri Hindu migrants should be grateful to BJP and they should now reciprocate by rejecting Congress-NC candidates and vote for BJP candidates so that they contribute in ensuring victory of party in 2014 Lok Sabha election.
Gosani also appealed the said handful people from amongst their community to reconsider their views, don’t fall in the trap of NC and Congress leaders, think about the welfare of their community and make fresh appeals to vote in favour of BJP.
