Infiltration bid foiled, Pak continues to violate ceasefire
Jammu, June 19 (Scoop News) –Pakistan once again fired on Indian posts on Line of Control (LC) in the Krishna Ghati Sector, today. A group of four armed persons from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) were seen moving towards an Indian forward post near LC in Krishna Ghati Sector in Poonch district around 0950 hours, today, defence sources said today.
Sources said that contact was established with armed group and when challenged by Indian troops, they started firing indiscriminately targeting Indian troops.
Indian troops took position and opened fire on the infiltrating group, and they were pushed back towards PoK. Thereafter, all Pak posts in KG Sector area, along LC, opened the fire heavily with Small Arms and 82 mm Mortars. Calibrated responses were given by own troops.


In another incident, pak violates ceasefire agreement in Poonch Brigade area with small arms at 1100 hours today. Calibrated responses were given by own troops.


In both the incidents, there was no casualty or injury to any person on Indian side.


Firing from Pak side in both LC Sectors was still continuing till the last report came in.
