| 10 Injured in road mishaps | | 2 Houses damaged in fire |
Srinagar, March 10 (Scoop News)- Ten persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
According to Police a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK05A/4726 collided with an electric pole near Jawbrara, Awantipora, in the jurisdiction of police station Awantipora, resulting in injuries to two persons namely Tanveer Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Rashid and Irshad Ahmad Malla son of Abdul Rashid residents of Baramulla both the traveling in Wagon-R. Both the injured have been shifted to SKIMS, soutra, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05A/1297 turned turtle near Qazipora, Baramulla, in the jurisdiction of police station Bujhama, resulting in injuries to eight passengers namely Dilawar Ahmed, age 14 years, son of Mohammad Zaman resident of Binner, Baramulla, Bashir Ahmed Khan age 60 years, son of Mohammad Yaqoob resident of Lachipora, Doulat Zaman, age 35 years, son of Mir Zaman resident of Lachipora, Sajid Amin, age 22 years, son of Mohammad Amin resident of Lachipora, Mohammad Iqbal, age 44 years, son of Atta Mohammad Abbassi, Rabia Khanam, age 20 years, daughter of Mohammad Hanief resident of Bimyar Boniyar, Ifat age 18 years daughter of Mohammad Youns resident of Chahlanand Wahid Ahmad, age 17 years, son of Amir-ud-din resident of Bijhama. All the injured have been shifted to Public Health Center Boniyar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
2 Houses damaged in fire
During the intervening night of 09/10.03.2013, fire broke out in the residential house of Ghulam Qadir Pandith son of Ghulam Mohammad. The fire engulfed another house of Mohammad Yousuf Mir son of Abdul Ahad Mir residents of Mohalla Hamam Sopore, in the jurisdiction of police station Sopore, resulting in complete damage to both the houses. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident.
