| World Arthritis Day celebrated | |  Jammu, October 12 (Scoop News)- Maharishi Charak Ayurvedic Centre for Rheumatic Diseases, Jammu organized a seminar on Arthritis & allied ailments here today on the eve of World Arthritis Day. The Centre which is offering free consultation regarding arthritis treatment & prevention is functioning under Rahul Pharma, a GMP compliant company which has the opportunity to present one of the most effective, clinically tested herbal drug S.Compound based on Boswellia Serrata. He told that he has taken up the matter with Union Health Ministry for further exploration of the drug.
Vinod Sharma General Secretary Jammu & Kashmir Pardesh Congress Committee while speaking on the occasion stated that Arthritis is a crippling disorder & Medical Fraternity should seriously involve it self & develop specific treatment to redress the sufferings of mankind. The doctors should work with dedication & devotion. He stated that Union Health Minister Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad has allocated huge funds to AYUSH sector. Full fledged research institutes have been developed in Jammu & Srinagar. The admissions to Ayurvedic & Unani Colleges will also start soon. He assured the doctors that he will also take up the matter with Union Health Minister regarding setting of separate Herbal Drug Authority to attract importers.
